Crohn’s Disease Sufferers Use Natural Remedies

Friday, March 28th, 2008

Proper diets are critical for successful natural treatments. Most patients get relief from this disease by avoiding the following yeast, wheat and milk. Research shows that proper intakes of Omega-6 fatty acids (sesame seed, corn oil ) and Omega-3fatty acids (Flaxseed oil, fatty fish such as trout and salmon) lower the risk of developing Crohn’s disease and helps improve the chances of attaining remission. A well balanced oil which contains Omega-3, 6, and 9, is Hemp oil - its anti-inflammatory properties impacts positively on the inflammatory processes if taken daily (initially one teaspoon, steadily increasing it to one tablespoon).

Don’t Confuse Milk Allergies with Being Lactose Intolerant

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Infant milk allergies are caused by proteins found in cow’s milk and not the breast milk of a mother. This allergy should not be confused with being lactose intolerant which is an adverse reaction to milk sugar present in sheep, goat and cow’s milk. Many adults also suffer from this.
